Who We Are

The Heartland Center is an independent nonprofit organization. Our mission is to help local leaders respond to current and future challenges in their communities.

We do this by bringing people together to learn how to become better decision makers.

We are grounded in the belief that skilled and inclusive leadership is key to the success of every community and organization.

Each year we reach approximately 2,500 leaders, citizens and practitioners from 300 communities nationwide. Please let us know how we can help you with any of the services we provide.
